Environmental & Social Impact

We hold ourselves to a high standard of ethics and accountability in all that we do. Read on for our commitment to sustainability and charitable causes.

SUSTAINABILITY

LOCAL SOURCING

One of our guiding principles as a company is a commitment to innovating and investing in long-term, sustainable manufacturing practices. Some of our garments are made in Los Angeles, which helps support small and localized businesses. If we can't find it here, we align with a supplier who meets our quality standards.

FABRICS

We invest heavily in vintage pieces and deadstock fabrics sourced locally in Los Angeles. Our Archive collection includes vintage pieces that are either 100% unaltered or carefully retooled with minimal adjustments. This up-cycling (also known as creative re-use) helps us reduce waste by giving an existing garment new life. Deadstock fabrics are unused materials from other fashion manufacturers that would otherwise go to a landfill. We reimagine and repurpose these perfectly good leftovers into beloved Mayfair styles.

PACKAGING

All of our products are packaged in 50% post-consumer recycled poly packaging. Our packing material is 100% recyclable, which helps reduce the volume of materials that goes to a landfill.

CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS

We are proud to announce a new ongoing partnership between The Mayfair Group and MyWellBeing. MyWellbeing is a mental health organization that matches you with the *right* therapist or coach, while supporting behavioral health providers in business and personal growth.

With this partnership, we’re working together to help destigmatize mental health, provide education and curriculum on mental wellness, and help provide high quality and diverse therapy options to marginalized communities. Our initial therapy fund of $10,000 will be offered to New York residents. The Mayfair Group and MyWellbeing are united in our commitment to expand this fund as we continue to move the needle for widespread access and legislation for high quality therapy resources together.

In addition to the mental health fund - The Mayfair Group is proud to have the following foundational organizations within our family. We consistently support these non-profits and their causes throughout the year with collaborations, donations, resources, and social support.
